Missy Dunn - Mahan is a citizen of the Tohono O' Oldham nation and active member of the Yuchi/zOyaha nation from Polecat Ceremonial grounds. Missy is a contemporary painter, tattoo artist and co owner of the Desert Bloom Tattoo & Salon in Phoenix, AZ, where she creates stunning and innovative art that celebrates her heritage. Her artwork has been featured in institutions like The Field Museum in Chicago, Illinois, The Heard Museum in Phoenix, Arizona and collaborations with numerous other organizations, inspiring a new generation of artists. through her art, Missy aspires to highlight cultural preservation and identity through amplifying the significance of Indigenous tattoos and her tribes tattooing history.
